Thanks to everyone who joined us today for the 20th running of the Bronte Way.

A total of 168 runners braved the cool October air to start the 8 mile route in Wycoller & all arrived outside the Fleece pub in Haworth to claim a bottle of TT beer.

Well done to everyone, and thanks for making it a great race. Sorry we cut the presentation a bit short due to local traffic wardens outside the pub!

A big thanks too to all our helpers today, without whom we really couldn’t manage – Wendy, Molly, Sara Claxton, Fiona Pudge, Darren Horner, Keith, Loz, Bob Wightman, Ian Lewis, Chris Tomes, Andy Watts & Rita.

Thanks too to Nick, landlord of the Fleece for hosting the race & all his team for helping on the day.

Final thanks go to Timothy Taylor brewery, particularly Kerry Page for their support & prizes.

This is our final year organising this great race on behalf of K&C – time to hand it over to someone else.

Cheers
John & Chris Preston

    I reiterate my earlier comment

What a cracking fell race this is!

Difficult to put a finger on it, relaxed, friendly, fun, excellent marshalling and organisation.

Oh! and it finishes in the pub doorway…….

Thanks to all involved in organising, marshalling and making it a good a good race!
