Hi Ladies!

A great performance from Amy, Tizz, Liz, Trish and Janet last Saturday at the Northern X-Cs at Witton Park in Blackburn.

The team finished 9th of 22, just behind Bingley and ahead of such notables as Salford, York and Clayton-le-Moors! Also some good runs in the Brass Monkey Half Marathon!

Next up are the re-arranged Yorks X-C Champs at Thornes Park in Wakefield on Sat 20th Feb. Entered in this are Liz, Tizz, Amy, Helen, Liz C, Ania, Trish, Janet, Fiona, Emma D, Victoria, Shyla and Camille.

A week later on the 27th Feb is the National X-C at Roundhay Park in Leeds. Same names are entered – Will has sent off an entry and although it’s a bit late (sorry about that!) we hopefully should be OK. The National is always a great experience and this year we don’t even have to travel far!

We’re also having some Saturday morning sessions (when we’re not racing!) sorted by John at Cliffe Castle starting Sat 6th Feb at 9.30am. All are welcome!

I know some are doing the London Marathon and the 3 Peaks this spring but we also want to get organised for the Northern 6-stage road relays at Wythenshawe Park in Manchester on Sunday 21st March (one week after the BIGK 10K).

We can do really well this year.
