    Erm… Please can I have a run time. I’ve never dropped out of a race in my life. It might not have been a fast time but I’m not quite ready to retire to Wharfedale just yet!

    I got back at around 8pm.

    Someone was listening to my old running stories, he seemed really interested so I sacrificed my transition time to impress him with my full portfolio…

    Found him face down in the canal on my way back from the run!
