Swim: 34:23 (501st)
T1: 03:05 (364th)
Bike: 2:02:51 (92nd)
T2 : 1:51 (222nd)
Run: 1:35:17 (17th)

One day I will learn to swim and how to change quickly without retouching up my hair and make up in transition !! Great event with perfect race weather at long last. It was even sunny and warm on Helvellyn. Bit of mad race as usual with so many people racing up Swirral Edge. However, no air ambulance call outs this year. Great sight at finish as everybody gets in the ice cold lake to soothe their aching muscles.

Charlie, you forgot to add actual finishing time and position !!

It was 4:17:27 and 63rd position overall out of 658 starters (646 finished).

Great result Gary. Fabulous run and excellent bike as well. And the swim is still doubtless better than the rest of us could manage. Just have to confiscate the hair gel.

    Gary.
Great performance. It’s time you committed to swim training instead of having a limp excuse!!
You can obviously do this tri stuff bloody well so get your speedos on and down to the pool.

Thank you Des. I even understand that Craven Energy were getting a petition together demanding the same thing. Now in V45 category for next season so if I could sort out swim, I would get some high age group placings. Might have to do something about it at last !!
