Thank you for visiting our website – we hope you will find that we are far more than just a local running club. We strive to represent our local community and we provide so much more than just the ability to run with others. First and foremost, we are welcoming to all whatever your background and experience so please come along and give us a try.

Our activities are wide and varied. At the younger end, we have one of the most vibrant junior sections in the UK as we try to nurture a lifetime love of sport in our youngsters. Fun is the watchword for our youngest members. However, as they develop, we encourage them to compete in club colours whatever their ability and we are so proud that some have gone on to represent their country.

At the senior level, we have all sorts going on – ‘ready to run’ groups for those just starting out on the running journey and then depending on ability, we have multiple other groups so you can improve or simply enjoy the social side of running. We actively take part in events and there is a big social and charitable side to the club.

We also organise some large races which have a national reputation and bring in lots of visitors to the local area as well as raising tends of thousands of pounds over the years for local good causes.
